The Neurology Department treats stroke, skull/brain injuries, acute herniated disks, as well as chronic diseases such as epilepsy, Parkinson and Multiple Sclerosis. A special emphasis of the department is epilepsy. In a seizure clinic, those concerned can be examined and counselled on an ambulatory basis. Also, for Parkinson and other extra-pyramidal movement disorders, the possibility exists for ambulatory consultation. A referral by the treating neurologist is all that is necessary.
